One of the barriers of growing up is that we, the human children lose our wonder seeking eyes on one hand and our experience grows on the other hand with the passage of time. This growing experience often comes with the limitations and thought process which weigh upon the imaginative world of a child as they grow old. But to a greater extent, the world of a child’s imagination is free of these limitations and thought process which allow them to think and imagine in whatever he/she chooses to think or imagine as if he/she were the emperor of own his/her realm.

The realm of a child’s imagination is a limitless horizon and their eyes are ever seeking and inquisitive. Things that do not catch the notice of the accustomed eyes of an adult are minutely mirrored in the eyes of a child and even the slightest sound in their ears has strongest reverberation. Because they seek with a heart that sees, hears and feels without giving room to reasoning, experience and biasness. Therefore, their expression when they bring out on paper are equally fresh and frank and without the fear of retribution.

In this art exhibition, Chitrobhasha Gallery featured three young artists Prajna Paramita Modhumala, Dipa Marak and Ana Averi Patrolekha to recapture the frank yet insightful portrayal of life as they saw. They used charcoal, pestle, and earth color as their media. Chitrobhasha will arrange this exhibition with much joy.

Exhibition Date: 14 & 15 Dec, 2018
