Musical heritage Bangladesh is very rich. Music is no longer just an expression of skill; it wants to express the sound and music of the heart. Music is moving towards the discovery of the subtle sense of sound or music of the coming world, as well as to be associated with other forms of art, along with its own form and power. Nevertheless, it is not possible to taste it deeply without methodical practice. This workshop has been planned considering all these aspects.

Every common people has a sense of rhythm. However, it may not be able to express properly. There are many musical instruments in front of our eyes, but they may not be seen. There are many sounds or melodies resonating in front of open nature which not always possible to hear. By using these senses of seeing and hearing, it is possible to awaken the art within everyone. This workshop was just an attempt to awaken those artistic identity.

The two-day long workshop were orgnanized by Chitrobhasha Gallery and conducted by Dr. Sayeem Rana, Associate Professor of the Department of Music, University of Dhaka.
